Storm With Damaging Winds Knocks Out Power To Thousands In Massachusetts

A line of strong storms with damaging wind gusts left thousands without power in Massachusetts overnight.

But by daybreak on Tuesday, March. 8, service had been restored to most.

At around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Eversource reported 1,041 outages statewide, with 864 in Western Massachusetts.

Most of the outages are in Shelburne (192) and Greenfield (190), both located in Franklin County,
